What is flocking?

Flocking is the application of microfibres to a surface by applying it to a layer of glue. This creates an effect that is comparable to Alcantara or suede. This principle is widely applied within the packaging industry, but has mainly become popular in rally sports. Placing these fibers on the dashboard of the car ensures that the driver and coordinator are not blinded by reflected sunlight that falls on the dashboard. It's a simple and inexpensive way to fix the problem, and it looks cool too!
